Hi all,

I saw a post on the forum about swapping the RPM and the speedo around so the RPM gauge is in the proper place i.ie in the middle. I cant seem to find it anymore, does anybody have it bookmarked or the guide handy?

The speedo cable isn't long enough on a RHD to easily pull it off, plus it looks a bit odd as the rev counter starts in such an odd place.

Pull the gauges unplug them, Pop the multi gauge to give better access to the back of the speedo. The speedo cable has a plastic nut that holds it into the back undo that rearrange the wiring and move the cable, you might have to unloop it from the dash supports plug it all back in.

If your lucky it'll need no mods just moving wiring.

Hope you like pain though, the gauges get very stuck in place and need a good push form behind to get them out and access is alkward to say the least!

Just wanted to add - pay close attention to how you route the speedo cable. From personal experience, a PO had done this on a car we bought and it ended up stressing the cable where it attaches top the gauge. Result: broken speedo cable. Make sure you've got enough slack in the cable to accommodate the move.
