Sorry if this is covered elsewhere. What is the maximum wheel/tyre widths that fit a 931. I'd like to fit a set of Fuchs like in the link.

7x16 with 205x50/16
8x16 with 205 or 215x50/16

My car will also be lowered and cambers re worked for fast road and track bias.

I installed those fuchs with 205/55/16 front and 225/50/16 rears. They are obviously need wider fenders or some kind of wing flares. With some negative camber and thinner rear spacers rears where not ribbing. But the front tire still hits the fender in tight corners.
Here's it looks like:

From Rasta's authoritative wheel thread:
Smoothie wrote:
911 "Fuchs wheels" (aka- Fuchs 5-spoke, or just 5-spoke wheels)
part no.: 911.361.020 FCO
size - 6Jx16
backspace - 4-7/8" (125mm)
offset - 36mm

(The Fuchs (say- "Fooks", please ) stick out 16mm more than the OE wheels, and the tires on Fuchs wheels
rubbed both front and rear-left fenders on bumps and turns until the suspension was
upgraded (including thicker front stab.bar, added rear stab.bar, 220lb. standard height
front springs, and JCW rear shock helper springs) and thinner spacing is used on the rear-left
when the Fuchs (with spring-summer-fall tires) are installed.)

The key thing you need to be concerned with is the offset, often shown on the wheels with an ET## stamp. So in the case of the wheels Smoothie depicts above, the wheels would be stamped 6Jx16 and would likely have ET36 stamped somewhere on them as well.

FWIW, there is a guy on Pelican manufacturing late offset replicas to order. Gorgeous, and yes, spendy.

The ones I was looking at sold yesterday. They were ET23 so may not have protruded as much as the pics above. With coilovers with slimmer springs I believe I may have had enough room front and rear.

Front - Wider by 11mm inside and 15mm outside than current 6j
Rear - Wider 23mm inside and 27mm outside than 6j

I believe this is the spec of the wheels in the picture I linked to in my first post and looks like it works.

The wheels pictured above are 36mm offset which stick out less than 23mm offset. You want a higher offset number not lower.

One option would be to run 5.5X15s (42 offset) in the front and 6X15s (36 offset) in the back.

Another option:

6X15s with a bit of negative camber in front

With 7X15s in the rear but pull the stock 20mm spacers, replace with 10mm spacers and add enough negative camber to match or exceed the fronts.

I personally think 15s look better on narrow body 924s.

The other thing you could do is to go to Cookie Cutters.

6X15s in the front, they fit perfect.

7X15s in the rear with spacers pulled and a bit of negative camber. (may need to nudge them out just a bit with some short spacers (4mm) to perfect the look.

Do they make Fuchs or replicas in 16x8 with 50-52.5 offset? That would be fun all 4 corners.
