thats so sad John!
It wouldn't take much to put right but you would have to do it yourself cos you cant trust the garages to sort the niggle bits.
You have road tax and MOT so you should get £400 (as least) i would hope.
If you were around the corner from me I would buy it and bring it back to life then you could have the choice to buy it back if you wanted.
I have seen a lot of these cars go for a song lately, the annual road tax bill doesn't help. So there are loads of parts around at the mo, but it wont be long and there wont be many runners left. I have just taxed mine today, £190 ouch _________________ 924 (84) N/A 2 ltr - 5 Speed - BLACK - Project (looking for 200BHP, any ideas!)

Tell me about it mad man. Its the cost of insurance and tax here in the UK that makes them unviable. Parts are not difficult to find or that expensive here. You can get a recon head for £50 or an engine for £135+£45 delivery, or 5 speed gearbox for £75
I worry that many people will just break them for the parts, often selling then overseas on eBay and there wont be many left on the roads.
It costs more to own a 924 than it cost to buy one and thats before you spend anything on parts or put fuel in them. _________________ 924 (84) N/A 2 ltr - 5 Speed - BLACK - Project (looking for 200BHP, any ideas!)
