I have a couple questions. I don't know the color codes for a 81 924 NA fuel pump. Black with green tracer and I think the other one is Red or Orange. Which one is - and +? The next question is. Does the Fuel tank have a barb on the it where the hose is comming out of the tank? I am in the process of installing a inline low pres. pump and the outlet hose is dryrotted. I don't want to just cut it off and mess up this hose until I know I can replace it!!! I don't see a hose clamp on it that is why I am asking?

The "S" shaped hose can be bought from Porsche new for around $15, and should have a clamp.

Well its not a S shaped hose anymore. LOL It dry rotted at the external pump end. There was one hose clamp, it was on the ext pump end. Thanks Rasta

Black with green tracer is positive (+) according to the wiring diagrams.
The Red or Orange is probably not stock and someone has used it to replace the brown ground (-)

I have NEVER seen a 924 with a PO astute enough to know that a ground wire would need replacing.
