|
|
| I have a couple questions. I don't know the color codes for a 81 924 NA fuel pump. Black with green tracer and I think the other one is Red or Orange. Which one is - and +? The next question is. Does the Fuel tank have a barb on the it where the hose is comming out of the tank? I am in the process of installing a inline low pres. pump and the outlet hose is dryrotted. I don't want to just cut it off and mess up this hose until I know I can replace it!!! I don't see a hose clamp on it that is why I am asking? |

The "S" shaped hose can be bought from Porsche new for around $15, and should have a clamp. _________________ Toofah King Bad

Black with green tracer is positive (+) according to the wiring diagrams.
The Red or Orange is probably not stock and someone has used it to replace the brown ground (-) _________________ 924 (84) N/A 2 ltr - 5 Speed - BLACK - Project (looking for 200BHP, any ideas!)

I have NEVER seen a 924 with a PO astute enough to know that a ground wire would need replacing. _________________ Vaughan Scott
