Does anyone know the correct points gap for a 79 model 924 Australian specs?

It doesnt want to rev, but seems to have a lot of torque pulling 5th at 60kmh, and above 2000rpm it pulls ok, but slow to rev. I also changed the Plugs, leads, distributor cap, etc. It seems to be rich, but may not have enough advance, havent checked yet. The Plugs, especially 1 and 2 were very black, and its leaving a telltale black mark on the rear bar.
Cheers.

On another subject, I did the Shift Linkage Bushes, using Poly and it is heaps better, only about 10mm play, like a new car. Still hard to downshift to 1st without grinding. Seems ok in other gears especially if heel and toe brake to match revs on downshifts.
I can get the dog gears and syncros i spose but how hard is it to remove a snailshell? So how many people have the hole under the seat with a plate that fits over it?
It does make it easy to work on, and I want it that way because I want to race it.
cheers again

I would forget gapping and get a dwell meter, cheap and reliable. They even work with the cap off and an assistant cranking the motor. . .so you can make and monitor the adjustment while the dizzy is turning.
