|
|
I was wondering if the hot start solenoid valve (you know the one next to the fuel dizzy, only for >1979 models) has a specific polarity.
Is it important to put either of the red/orange or white/brownish wires at front or doesn't this matter at all?
I never thought about it because both contacts use the same type of
6 mm spade connector.

Red usually is + and Brown is - so this may be a clue the way it goes _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA

Thanks Ozzie,
I know the red/orange wire is + and the brown one is -, but there is nothing on the solenoid.

Yeah,
I was hoping someone who was certain of his properly working solenoid would take a peep. _________________ 1983 NA Alpineweiss since 2001
