Yep make sure you go with a 924 to start with unless you REALLY like high maintenance, finicky behavior of the 944

I won't lie... I love my 944 to death. But I'm replacing it with a much more fun, lower cost lower maintenance Porsche. I remember many moons ago when i was looking for my first 924. You'll find one

Did you actually know there was a point in time when the 944 cost MORE to maintain than some N/A model 911s?

The 924 though is a totally different monster and is EASY to maintain, EASY to work with, EASY to work ON and god it's such a kick in the ass to drive.

Best of luck to you with your search. You'll love every minute of it.

Welcome! I totally understand your problem and everyone here has the same problem. There is a wealth of knowledge here especially from Dan (ideola ). He seems to know every thread location on every topic you could possibly ask for if your use of 'Search' leads you nowhere. He also supplies or knows how to get just about anything for reasonable pricing.

If you fell for the 924 now, believe me it sticks with you for a lifetime
