its starting to look like the rotor sensor in my distributor is the villain in my persuit of functionality. ebay keeps showing me units but they say 924 and then aircooled! . its an 80 n/a. the rotor and cap are solid but I think this bad boy is at the end of its tether. or if the sensor is available somewhere? thanks much! _________________ "There are no kings inside the gates of Eden"

Have worked on aircooled vws for to many years and have now got a 924 (the unloved porsche). The dizzy i have has points fitted and when i changed these, the rotor and the cap they were the same as the aircooled vws. The aircooled and 924 transistorised systems are more than likely the same, remember it was a VW before it became a Porsche. |
