What should be inside that wheel? I can't find any photo how it shoul look.
PET Info:
U 911 361 022 00 Perforated disc wheel steel 5 1/2J x 15, ET53

And that's what it is:

Those are early 911 rims, not 944. IIRC, those get a small (aprx 15 cm) silver early 911 hubcap that covers the hole in the middle and the lug nuts but leaves the slots around the edge uncovered. You can see the three tabs that would hold it on in one of your closeup pickies. The bearing cap would poke through the center.

No idea where to find early 911 hubcaps and I would think they'd be insanely expensive...but IDK. If you google 65 911 or something you'll probably be able to find an image of them on a car, and you can probably find them f/s on ebay or something.

I would think not worth it, put the cookies back on. Sell the steelies to a 911 guy. But up to you of course.

All the early 911 and 912s had steel or chrome rims. Emore924 is correct that the small chrome hubcap fits all these wheels. They should be fairly inexpensive since most owners upgraded their wheels over the years and have the hubcaps lying around. Can't think where mine are but I must have a dozen or so.

I bought that steel rims just for winter period to use with winter tires and don't have to change tires from summer to winter which a little can damage alloy rims.
