| there seems to be no fuel getting to my cylinders, it could be a timing belt slip, if so i will need some serious advice on how to fix that. But i think my injectors are bad, is there a simple way to remove and test them? some king of simple circuit that i can connect them to? I have seen some complicated devices that you can buy but they run up of 3000 and for that i may as well replace the injectors. im looking for a simple home solution. |

get a big plastic container and pull a injector, maybe get another container and pull all the injectors from the head leaving the fuel line connected pull the rubber boot off the intake where the sensor plate is
turn the key on and lift the sensor plate for a certain amount of time letting the injector spray into the container.
Read up on testing the fuel sys. ( cis) in a haynes manual( I believe theres one online)
it will tell you how much the injectors are supposed to put out, they will also give different points in the fuel sys. to test for testinf the fuel pump and injectors....also observe the spray patterns of your injectors they shouldnt dribble fuel but deliver in a conical type spray. _________________ 1979 porsche 924 Na

| which rubber boot on which sensor are you referring to. You would not happen to know the signal that the injectors recive in which case i will just build a bench tester. |

Well, here we have a 924NA answer to a 924S-specific question, and so a need to keep 924NA stuff in General Discussions.. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."
