Would rather see the tach in the center of the instrument cluster than the speedometer.

Makes more sense as I race/track the car

Anyone do this??? Any issues in doing???

First look......seems like its possible

Gary, absolutely doable. The biggest issue in doing it is to make sure you have sufficient slack in the speedometer cable. It might require you to re-route it in the engine bay, and then push it further into the cockpit, but it is definitely doable.

Done this, the key was to unhook the bunch of electrical cables that were in the way and just put them som cm away. The biggest problem here is the angle on the cable (speedo), the wire needs to be curved very carefully or you will have problems with a not so smooth speedo afterwards. The hardest thing is that there is some metal in the way for the cable, but the cable can be moved so it will be acceptable.

mmmmm, early turbo green gauges, nice.

Mine is the same, only diffy is that I turned the tacho about 90 degrees CW so redline is straight up. That way I don't actually have to look to know I'm at (or over ) redline.

Moved mine around a couple of weekends ago. Also re covered the gearshift with black suede leather to match the Momo wheel.

My car was like this when i bought it. I switched it back.
I really like the choice of steering wheels in those pics.

Its a boost gauge by TIM. Just needed some additional green marker pen on the white numbers and some orange paint on the needle. Ideally would like a custom vdo 1.5 bar gauge done to match in perfectly.
