noticed a few problems...

hi 924 community
here are the things that i've noticed:
1. my driver side door lock wont unlock
2.there is a weird whirring noise when the car is idling in neutral stationarily
3.the trim near the bottom of my shifter is comming off

power locks or manual?
could you further describe the whirring? possibly the fan? is the idle high?

I'm guessing the whirring noise is the Torque Tube bearings.

Door handles do brake. Pot metal.
Find a new or used one.

the door locks are manual ones
cuz manual is the way to go lol
and the whirring comes from the rear
it seems to get lighter as the clutch pedal is pressed down
it either totally disappears then or is very faint, hard to tell

got the same...probably tt bearings as said above
