Today we're off to do something a little different with the racecar; our sponsor Munk's Motors (www.munks.com) is having their 40th anniversary party! That's right, they've been in business for 40 years now!
So, since one of the important things about having a racecar sponsorship is to show the car off for your sponsors - we're dragging it up and putting it on display at the shop, along with the other racecar they sponsor, a Formula Vee driven by a friend, coworker, and fellow 944 nut.
Munk's is a German car specialist, though they do service all Euro cars IIRC... but they definitively specialize in aircooled VW's - lots of Bug and Bus knowledge around there...
Adding to the fun will be a lunch catered by Franks Anatra! (www.franks-anatra.com)
Tomorrow it's back to working on the new racecar (the DSR)...
