9XX Girl,
Please post some shots or your Vespa. Last one I had was in the mid '60s and I don't have any old photos. I remeber mine as being hard to start until I put in some new rings.
Thanks
Chuck

Its a new purchase. I will be picking it up tomorrow. (it needs work but then everything i usually buy does). I do have one photo but will post more when i get it home. I am hiring a van tomorrow to go and get it.

Vespa now market themselves under the name PIAGGIO-VESPA. This is a modern (well 2001) scooter but they do hold their money for their age and are of a much better pedigree than the French and Chinese s**t you see on the roads here. Its a 4 stroke with electric start too. Very cheep to TAX and Insure.

I have just moved jobs to a location 3 miles from my home and don't want to use the Porsche for such short stop start journeys hence the scooter. I have a pool car with my job (BLACK VW Golf GTi 2ltr) as i am community based an have to travel to see my clients, (for TAX purposes, the VW has to stay at work) therefore (and sadly) my Porsche will be purely for pleasure!

It has a faded Learner plate on at the mo. That will be coming off as my license covers me to ride it without learner plates. Got the original Vespa Decals for it too.

More pis to follow
