Are these really that rare? Beside me, I cant find anyone make mention to this option. not even on google or yahoo search.

I have seen those seats in early 924 models and even in early 944. I would say those seats are somewhat rare but not super rare.

edit: It is possible that tweed seats are more rare in US. It could be that it is a market area issue. US cars seems to be better equipped. (apart from 931 brakes 1979-1980 ) Tweed seats are sort of basic thing, not an option. Leather would be an option to pay some extra, tweed hardly not.

The tan tweed seats were common in the 81 Weissach Special Edition cars.

wow, red tweed seats! thats cool! what color is the rest of the interior. I wish they made red interiors like Corvettes.

my last car was a uk '79 martini replica.... it had a slightly similar interior





sold that car in nov/dec last year, was leaking like mad from the roof and it was destroying the interior

the maroon car is porsche number 5 for me, lol. one was gold, two white a silver 944 and now this one in maroon..... i also have a mr2 1991 and a mugen honda crx 1993 and my trusty steed... a 1996 ford fiesta diesel.

That red tweed is SNAZZY Never seen that one before!

My 81 NA has the same grey tweed on the seats, but not on the door panels. I like it.

ive never seen it before myself! i bought the car as it came up at a steal of a price, its really straight, has a SS exhaust, good full interior and is ALL original.

and i mean it came up at a real steal....should have worn a mask

That is the coolest interior I have seen. Why weren't more produced? Tweed seats are so comfortable and warm. The leather looks cool but fabric is so much nicer to live with

love it! the red tweed must be the best int ever! on any car.
I've never really liked leather either. cloth is better imo.
