thats actually pretty cool. i bet the caddy does pretty well but if a good driver shows up with an m5 they will have their hands full.

Don't be so sure...this is the same car that set the track record at the 'Ring earlier this year...

one of the magazines tested both cars there (Monticello) and they finished VERY close. its really a drivers race.

with that said gm has a HUGE advantage. they picked out a professional driver but the cars that challenge them have to be driven by the owners on the registration. how many drivers that skilled have the time to do this, own a comparable car, and haven't modified it? i wouldn't be betting against the Cadillac, thats for sure.

Actually, they're just reserving the right to put a "pro" driver up against any challenging pro drivers. Reasonable.

Any "average joes" will be going up against Lutz, as I understand. And he's no hack, from what I hear...
