you don't have to cut those holes on the bottom, right? Those are blind... just the intake holes and stud holes.
I'll be building such a flange soon... I've decided to go fiberglass _________________ "Rule: Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun." (C. Bell)

| Hey Tbrown, I live in Terre Haute, IN. I think they are Matijnus. I haven't looked really close at the cylinder head surface. On the intake surface there is a small channel between the holes. I am not to worried about that. I will be using a Holley 4412 with external vacume ports. I would rather make the intake out of Alum. instead of Fiberglass. I think fiberglass won't hold up to the heat, unless you use cabinfiber. I am more worred about the ignition on my 1981. Will I need a electronic distributor?? Anyone know? Thanks Brad |

coming along nicely man. +1 to those 4 holes across the bottom not needing to be drilled out. just cover them up.
hey man, i appologize for not getting back to you about the old manni i have. been crazy here, but you're better off making one from scratch than using that one. espicially using aluminum. _________________ "Kraut cars, they know how to build 'em".

the small sand paper flapper wheels they have at lowes work great for smoothing intake runners. what are you using for a plenum and tb? I got a tank from a oxygen generator and used a mustang tb on the neon used 6061 aluminum pipe as the runners it work great!

he's going carb on his. so there wont be a TB. most likely just a spacer and 2bbl carb. _________________ "Kraut cars, they know how to build 'em".

| Thanks the TB looks great!!! Yes as Zodiac says I am making my intake for a Holley 2bb carb. I am cutting out a plate for a Holley from a spacer so it won't be to high at all. Thanks Brad |
