my 87 924s is still having starting issues...... ....
i've replaced the fuel filter, did a tune up, replaced cracked lines and still she just doesnt want to start very well.....
it does start. but it takes a bit to go. and when it does start it chugs a little, and finally takes off and idles good. and drives good.
well i was tinkering with it, and i pulled off a vacuum line while it was running. a bit of gas spilled out of it. so i pulled the vacuum line off the fuel pressure reg. and a little bit of gas was spitting out......
i do not think this is normal..lol.. could this cause an issue with starting?
i priced a new pressure reg. and it was like $119. anyone have a good pressure reg. that i can buy?
i live near Lansing, Michigan......im sick of buying expensive stuff and it not fix this....please help!!!!!! _________________ 87 Porsche 924s

Yup, that's not normal... losing fuel pressure will cause starting issues.
I don't have a used one but, here's a site that seems to have a cheaper one...
PartsGeek have asked us to remove links to their site (it's a Google thing). Copy and paste this address into your browser:

Hmmm, that sounded like the air flow meter was looking for a reading... check for loose/cracked vacuum lines and test it.
