My weekend project (replacing waterpump,belts,and head gasket) has become an expensive month long project so far. First I stripped the smaller allen head bolt on the front of the head.Next I broke it off, drilled the bolt and broke off the extractor in the bolt. My question is: Is this bolt crucial or can I put the head on without it.If it is crucial,What the he&& do I do now? Also I cannot fiqure out how to remove the valve spring keepers. I am able to compress the spring a little with my compressor but don't know how to get to the keepers. I am very new at this but want to learn. Thanks in advance for any help.
