Anyone know the HP difference of the 2? 1977 NA and a 1982 NA?

Early 77s (made in early 76) often contained Euro market 924 parts, and some were 125hp. The reason (off the record) is that US Market engine parts were in short supply at the beginning of US Market Production.

Officially US market 77s are 95hp.

Officially US Market 77 1/2 (after Dec.76) are 110hp.

Officially US Market 82 are 115hp.
