so everyone tsaliking about the 034 adapter plate for the vr6 to o16 audi bellhousing...has any one actually used this and is the porsche 016 b/housing the same as the audi 016...because its an expensive excersize if they are not the same...

Yes, they are the same.

You'll need to use a 924 N/A or 924 Turbo bellhousing as the 944 uses a different bellhousing on the engine side (the other end of the torque tube is a reversed Audi bellhousing)

Keep in mind that the reason that many don't run other Audi-style engines in these cars is due to a lack of space around the strut towers caused by the angle of the engine. So the cross flow headed engines tend to work better.

A VR6 is wider I believe, so you may have to watch that as you move forward on this.
