I've just finished a 3litre 16V S2 transplant into an 86' 944. It will not run without a dme jumper! I know there was a wiring change from 87'. I have transplanted the entire S2 engine bay harness but there are differences between 86 wiring and later cars.
I have access to wiring diagrams ect but I'm completly ignorant about this stuff. Been here before, but my wiring mate is long gone so I'm up shit creek |

| if by jumper you mean DME relay you can bypass that i think it was 30 to 87b or some thing like that, if you have the Haynes manual it will tell you, i would have moved the entire electrical system. I have had issues with my 924s as none of the wires line up, because its a 944 harness on 924 dash electronics, you may need both schematics to trace and connect all wires correctly, the colors may not match. |
