Am needing to replace the rear hatch struts and checked Paragon & Pelican for prices. Am amazed at the differences in costs. Am looking for reccomendations as to where to buy these puppies and just what type/brand do I/should I buy? My hatch is the heated kind which I do not know if this was an option or not. Looking for answers Guys/Gals & Thanks

| No matter where you decide to buy your replacement hatch struts, make sure that they are manufactured specifically for a 924 with no spoiler, or a 924S with a small spoiler. The 944 and 951 struts are much stronger to lift the heavier larger spoiler, and can overstress the glue bond that holds the hatch frame to the glass causing delamination (starts at the hinges, and the latches if you get the wrong struts). |
