North American cars have huge ugly aluminum bumpers that you can literally sit on! Fog lights were an option IIRC and were moutned underneath the bumper. We also have ugly big circular side markers... look at some pictures of members cars and you'll know what im talking about. _________________ 1977 Porsche 924

oh yeah,I didnt realise how far they stuck out! The European bumpers look much neater.They are pretty tuff too.Last week i reversed my car pretty fast into a low down metal post,a completly solid one.it didnt half make a bang.anyway getting out fearing the worst i had bent the bumper in the middle pushing the corners out away from the car.it looked quite bad,but after a quick push back right there and then its more or less perfect again didnt touch the back panel and the bumper is like 95% good.Its a tough little thing. _________________ 82' 924 n\a manual silver. |
