right i have had my 931 in bits to check for this hot start problem
1. i have new fuel pump and check valve installed new injectors all four also i checked the auxaliray air flow meter and that works the thermo time switch is working and also the wur has been checked and seems to be working i have changed the fuel accumalator or pressure regulater as some called it with two second hand units that came off running cars but still no joy when the car is hot still no start but give it 10 mins and it will start again
is there anything else i might do or is it best just to buy new accumaltor and be done with it or are there other issues as well
cheers anyhelp would be appreicated _________________ hi everyone nice to see and talk and hear from u

Was the air/fuel mixture richened to help start it at one time? With a working accumulator on mine, I had to lean out the a/f mixture quite a bit. I was having both vacuum problems, and hot start problems. So, richening the mixture helped in both cases! Once I had both finally fixed, it wouldn't start hot, too much fuel. Big disappointment! Now it starts hot, cold, in between, etc. Nice.

In a quick re-start while hot situation, try pressing and holding the throttle to the floor -before- activating the starter. -And remember to do it on the first try. Forget it and you'll likely not get a second chance until after waiting the 5-10 min.. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

Have you monitored your fuel pressure after shutdown to see if pressure loss is causing your hot start problem?
Also, when you say "accumulator or pressure regulator as some called it" it sounds like you might think they are one in the same, and they are not. . .two different parts.

I get tired of repeating this, but here goes again:
Check your system and control pressures with a CIS test gauge.
And for the hot start issue, check that the fuel pressure is maintained after shutdown as per the test procedure.
It always amazes me that CIS owners will start replacing expensive parts that cost hundreds of dollars, but will not buy and use a $70 CIS test set. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"
