I've been gathering info for my 924 rebuild on this forum now for some time so I thought it was time for a inturduction and some pics. It's my
daily driver at summer time.

The interior is in great shape but the paint is really bad, the clear coat is
braking up and it needs a respray.

I bought this car 5 months before my 17 birthday and then picked up my
driving licenes on my birthday. I used the 5 months to get the car back into shape as it had been sitting outside in icelandic weather for I think 8 months.
this is what has been done so far

new brake lines to the back wheels and front.
new brake cylenders
new brake pads and the front discs cleand up.
changes the timing belt
new ignition system.
total rebuild of the back brakes and handbrake.
new shocks in front
and a lot of other jobs I cant remeber.

I would have done more but as I am a student the moneys are just not there.

to do list...
tinted widows.
re spray.
931/944 brakes
rebuild the engine up to some point mainly the head.
leather interior
some rims and rubber
back suspension
change all the suspension bushing
new right front wing

please comment and/or point out things I've missed or should do different.

If yer rebuilding the engine up.. be sure to check everything electrical.. Specially under the dash for a hot start quick fix job (will work but the cars old so if it was done a long time ago, inless they didn't do it quick like the tape they used probally is longer "tape" and ya) just electrical but like you said thats basically a engine rebuild... hey if the car runs good then it's on you man! yer creation fab. a rear wing and body kit on that bad boy and take her to race day!

yep nice color - exactly what color is that? Looks somewhat like my "malaga red" (code L 30 C), if so, you're the only other I've seen in here...

If you want to rebuild it do it. But before you do, make sure you can get all the parts you need. If you can afford it, I suggest you have a machine shop rebuild the head for you. That's what I did, and it was fairly painless. Also, see if they can paint your block. Take lots of pictures, and if it helps you, mark what goes where with paint markers.

good looking car. I just can't imagine anymore that I bought my car with that skinny of a tire on it. I would die with that narrow of a tire now.
