Hey I have this burning question in my mind and wanted to see if anyone knew the answer.

The three point seat belts. The mechanism that rolls it back up. When you remove it from the car it locks up. I never looked into it to much but does it release once you put it back in the car or is there some thing that need to be done to it in order for it to function properly again?

Know what I mean?

Yes, they'll release when you put them back in the car. They have a very narrow angle where they'll work properly, and it's hard to find that "sweet spot" while they're off the car.

Yep, thats true. Hold them in the normal upright position to test them out of the car.

Have found at times when parked on a hill that the bloody thing wont release till I get to more level ground.
