ok I know Ive mentioned that i was close, but now its actually running well. It seems that the vacuum line to the down pipe on the exhaust was the reason for poop performance. The exhaust is now leak free and i have plenty of power in all gears, off the record, I was surprised with the high speed control, not to high, under control... the Honda gets shaky. But any way just wanted to let anyone that another 924 is saved and is cursing around once again. Oh wanted to ask I know a couple guys drive em in the winter I threw some big bags of kitty litter 60 pounds i figure i need more, any advice.

Yes, when it's in Pennsylvania, just outside of Pittsburgh

"Pizza Jo's Six Pack Shop" - great name for a college town bar.

The 924 handles snow pretty well as it is because of the weight distribution. -As long as the snow isn't more than a few inches deep.

Snow isn't a problem. OTOH, ice or hard pack can be challenging. Tires make a HUGE difference. A nice plan is to have two sets of wheels...get some nice showy wheels with ultra high performance all season tires for warm weather driving, and then take your stock alloys and throw on some good winter tires. Switch over as soon as the snow starts flying, and switch back when it stops.

I drove my 924's through many winters before i got smart and moved south, only spun once, on ice, taking a heavily radiused off ramp way too fast, in a snow storm (white knuckle spin on top of a bridge.) In "normal" driving, i never had an issue with snow, ice, ect, no "balast" either, just good all season tires.

You'd think adding ballast to the car would upset its handlnig.

thanks for the info guys, so the "on the road!" was and wasn't premature... I didn't actually have it inspected it was insured and registered with a legal plate to the car, but It was on the road, two days without inspection, I took it today, ten days is all you get after purchase for inspection, and i had lots of work to do(I got it in July and its only now roadworthy kinda)... Well the rotors were bad in the front, not worn but rusting caused groves to form where the pad sat on the rotor, so (according to the mechanic)they were not machinable. I have looked over pricing at many sites and knew I could get some for 50 a piece not his 100 dollar rotors, I respectfully told him id work out the breaks. So as soon as the shipments in then it will be officially fixed up, besides the brakes he said everything looked really good. I bought some refurbished calipers and new pads as well. One question if i have a leaky master cylinder should I get a front and back disk break master cylinder and just install disks in the back. I would like to for maintenance and stopping purposes. So how big is the job, what does it run price wise, and does it include a larger booster?

I think there's another California, perhaps a little further west from you.

Looks like you picked the wrong one, Dude!
