Does anyone have cut some of their hood reinforcement to lightning it?
I have a spare N/A hood and I was planning on cutting weight of it.
It would be a lot cheaper than buying a fiberglass one.
What do you guys think?
How much (or where) can be cut without risking to cave-in the hood on the highway?
Thanks |

I think I would attack it with a hole saw before I actually removed any of the braces. _________________ Toofah King Bad

Speaking for myself (as a 220 lb'er), I'd be looking to lose some weight from my own self before resorting to picking pieces of metal from the hood. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."
