Hello. Since two weeks ago my oil warning light comes on while turning to the right. It just hapens for a second even when the turn takes more time; the light turns off though I'm still turning.
The oil level is right and oil pressure seems always right. When the oil warning light comes on, the center console red light comes on too (but this is normal becouse they're internally conected).
Why is this hapenning to my car? Is there a solution? _________________ Porsche 924 NA Euro. |

Check for loose metal foil insulation on the firewall behind the cylinder head. It, and the oil pressure sender post for the light might be making contact occasionally. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

In the meantime, just turn left.
I'd check the contacts at the back of the head. _________________ '88 944 Auto - may or may not resurrect |

Mine does that when it gets about 1/2 to 3/4 quart low on oil.
I think the owners manual mentions it too.
Wouldn't worry about it. Just keep the oil topped off. It's not unusual for these engines to use oil. (Also according to the owners manual.)
But if your oil is at the full mark and you're still getting the light, I'd be looking for some other reason, too. Loose wire behind the dash? _________________ '80 924 n/a SOLD |

Look at the connection to the handbrake light down beside your seat - sometimes the wire from this comes loose and grounds on the metal bracket causing the warning light in the centre console to come on _________________ Remember a Porsche is not just for Christmas,
