so neither of my interior handles are very firmly attached at the top. From the looks of it there is some kind of bolt sticking out of the top of the handle that should be attached to something but it just doesn't seem to be...

the other day I was giving my brother a ride and due to the fact that I hadn't greased my passenger door recently he yanked a bit too hard and actually pulled the handle out from the top. I was able to replace it but it's even worse than before. Has anyone done a thorough fix on this or at least have some suggestions? Thanks!

There's supposed to be a flat metal piece that's bent into a hook shape - attached through the panel to the top of the handle. This hook, if the panel's reinstalled correctly, should go through a squarish hole in the door. -So when you pull the handle, you're pulling on the inner metal skin of the door instead of just the cardboard panel.
