Well finished installing my meth injection today and got everything working. Then went to start it and nothing. I get illumination of the dash, windows work, etc but the starter isn't even clicking on.

Just had it running yesterday.

Only things I did today were wire a switch for the meth system and add a hobb's switch.

Didn't have time to check fuses as i had to go to work. Guess I'll troubleshoot more later tonight and tomorrow.

Did you wire power to the battery direcly, or did you splice into one of the stock 12v wires? For starter troubleshooting, try using the two-pin connector near the distributor. Unplug it, connect a piece of wire to the RED wire's pin in the male socket (you can crimp a standard female spade connector on your jumper wire, makes things easier), and short it with 12v. Make sure you're out of gear before trying this

This will short the starter solenoid directly. If you don't start cranking then, then it's an issue with starter wiring or the starter/solenoid itself. If you do start cranking, the problem is upstream.

You can also do the same thing with the starter switch - take 3-4 wires and crimp them all into one male spade connector, then crimp another male spade to the end of each. Pull the starter switch socket out of the starter switch (it will be a pain putting it back, though). Use the octopus jumper wire to simulate a starter switch, per wiring diagram - stuff the master spade connector into 12V and then stuff the individual blades into each circuit, following the wiring diagram. If you get the jumper wire to do things your key didn't, your starter switch is bad.

After that, check for continuity between starter wire terminal on the starter switch socket and that wire in the 2-pin socket that I talked about in the beginning (you want to test the female end this time, of course). Lack of continuity indicates... a broken wire, naturally If you get to this point, good luck, you'll need it

Hopefully this helps a bit.

Well I jumped the gun a little last night worrying too much. Looked today and noticed that my negative post was a little loose on my battery (has the screw in posts on the side) so I went to tighten it and it fell off..had sheared in half. So I replaced the battery and it fired right up.

Got the meth working too! Now to just install my MBC.
