I bought an EEPROM off of ebay. The vendor was very nice and said that it fixed the deceleration curve, which was all I was really interested in.
The chip did fix the deceleration, now it is not so sudden when you let up off the gas, there is marginal improvement in acceleration. _________________ 67 Mercury Cougar XR7 under Restoration

Glad to hear that some chipmakers focus on the problems that really hinder driving experience. It's very unpleasant when lifting the throttle car jerks.
Enjoy your improved ride!
P.S. Who said that DIY people can't tune car to be better than OEM's? _________________ '83 924 2.6 16v Turbo, 470hp
