There's a light coat of fine rubber dust on the underside of the hood, right over the cam sprocket. I am pretty sure it's coming from the timing belt.
Anyone seen this on their cars? _________________ Toofah King Bad

Yes - probably normal wear. I have the powder on my hood above both the timing belt and above the alternator belt. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."

I still have the cover on mine and it makes no dust. _________________ 1981 931 |
