Does your car have one or two? If one, it looks right, and it looks like the fan only, no shroud. _________________ Toofah King Bad

I have one fan, euro car, no AC.
My own fan makes a terrible noise.

I mounted a big aftermarket fan. Cheaper than the factory one, moves more air, covers more of the radiator and uses less amps. _________________ 1987 951 - M193 Version for Japan |

Am I right in that 924 fans play a very major role in cooling?
I took mine out today, only in traffic does the gauge go to creep up but about 75F today in UK & the fan going 10 to the dozen.
I get the impression if my fan wasn't working then I would be in trouble? _________________ Porsche 924 2.0 Litre (1982 model),

Simple install of a $50 14" slimline that pulls gobs more air than either the stock single fan or the dual A\C fan I also had mounted at one time. It is mounted to a 951 rad but I see no reason it wouldn't work as well on a 924 rad.

I did similar to Endwrench but bought a smaller unit and fitted it to the original cowling.
For the A/C I fitted a 12" on the front of the condensor in a 'push' configuration. _________________ Porsche 924 1984 (UK import) NA
