You guys in the states would call it Sylvia maybe. The S13 was about 89-ish. The CA18DET was the engine from the 1.8 litre turbo version, the "K's". I guess it would fit... its like all the guys in here say "anything's possible with time, money and engineering expertise." Your problem would likely be mating it to the transmission. _________________ 77 NA 924

nissan engine, 200sx variety , i dont think it ever made it to the states though, but not sure. no idea if itll physically fit, but certainly not a bolt in installation. like any engine swap, especially when changing manufacturers, easy doesn't factor, and deep pockets, high mechanical aptitude, and allot of work is required... _________________ Eric

Nice engine the CA18det - all alloy and a lot lighter than the 924 lump and revs like a real sportscar engine.
The usual problems; engine height, engine mounts and modifying the CA18 bellhousing to bolt to the torque tube. The matching gearboxes all seem to have a very long bellhousing so you'd need to slice the bellhousing and weld a plate over the end to bolt to the torque tube.
I've been thinking about that engine in a 924 for some time now. _________________ 1979 924 (Gone to a better place)
