Hey I was talking with my wife the other day on the phone and I mentioned I'd be under the car doing some work. So she stops talking. To fill the uncomfortable silence I go through all the safety steps I'll take while under the car. Then I still didn't feel I had it right.
Ok so I've got a two by four piece of wood for jacking where the suspension meets up - where the large two bolts are - and I'm planning to jack from near there and place the jack stands under where the two bolts are (from memory). Is the wood necessary?
Car in 1st.
Bricks behind the rear wheels.
Two jack stands up front.
Anything I'm forgetting? Good to go?
I hate being under the car. _________________ 1980 924 turbo, MSD, Meth. Inj, otherwise stock. |
