Hey guys, Im Kinda new here, Im on pelican and read here but havent been on much. Anyway I see alot of you have sweet setups and know alot about tuning ect.. Im at the end of my engine build and I have a couple questions Im hoping you guys can help me with. First a little background on the engine.
1987 924S 2.5L, Swapped from 9.5CR to a 1988 10.2CR, Balanced bottom end, ARP connecting rod bolts/nuts, Spec light weight flywheel, 951 external oil cooler, John millage Cam shaft # s3-14 http://www.jmengines.com/index.htm, Lindsey racing adjustable cam gear, 951 valve springs, Port matched head/intake/throttle body, racing valve job, new injectors, A/c delete, Bursche header, B&B catback, Msd digitail SCI plus ignition, Oil catch can, Huntley Racing MAF kit, Wideband 02.
My first question is, The maf kit I had on my car before I did the above build is a Huntley Racing stage 2 MAF, Problem is I cant find any info on it anywhere, Like wirirng diagrams pin outs ect. Doesn anyone know where I can find this info???? It would be a great help.
Second question is, The Maf kit came will a silly 4 knob fuel adjuster, It works fine but I wanted something better, So I went and got a used Lindsey Racing Mafterburner kit
http://www.lindseyracing.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=LR&Category_Code=944MAFTERBURNER
Have any of you used this before???
Third question, Does anyone know where I can get a TPS sensor for my 924S throttle body, It doesnt have one and I would like to use one to help me tune so I can see how far the throttle is open. Any links/info would be great.
Also if any of you have tips/tricks/info/pointers To anything good or bad that Im doing please feell free to tell me. Thanx alot for your help guys
I will post pics.
First pic is of the car, Owned her for 10 years so far and LOVE IT
Second pic is engine BEFORE rebuild
NExt, Pics of the Huntley Fuel control, 4 knob controler and crapy A/F gauge IM going to remove this.
Some parts and engine ALMOST DONE,
New cam and cam gear
951 oil cooler housing for external oil cooler setup
Light weight flywheel
Engine almost done
let me know what you guys think _________________ Rebuild COMPLETED, Many mods, better power, Just ask for info |

Excellent build.
Most of the guys here are CIS, carbs or Megasquirt.
I can't help on the Huntley MAF.
I have not used the masterburner but it looks like a nice system.
Strike three on the TPS.
My recommendation would be to take this question to Pelican or better yet, to the 944 section on rennlist, or to the MB website. They're much more involved in the 924S/944 cars and would probably be able to help. |

Nice motor...looks like a sweet setup. I unfortnuately can't help with most of your questions, but I do know that the 951 TPS has a pin that outputs throttle position (as a voltage) so you might want to try swapping in one of those (they can be found for pretty cheap at dcauto.com I believe). You'll probably need to double check that it would still have the other outputs that the DME needs, but I believe that it does _________________ '87 924 S - No sunroof and a few modifications |

As far as TPS I believe a unit from a Audi would work, one from a early S4 or S6 (what I have done).... This will also work - though pricy
