I found this interesting Top Gear clip on YouTube:

Brings back memories of driving a friend's RX-7 over the holiday vacation. _________________ 1987 Porsche 924S - track toy

Funny thing is, I currently drive an RX7. I have a 924S sitting in the garage right next to it which I am trying to restore. Would like to recreate this lol |

Funny I drove a RX7 like that back when it was new. Thought it was kind of like a toy. Felt soft and weak. Engine really needed to be reved high. Did not like the stupid buzzer or the stocks to turn things on.

I had a 12A powered 79. It was a beast. Had 120k miles, but pulled like a train, and once attained an indicated 130 MPH. Always ran great, and started up once at -30°. . .couldn't drive that day though. The tires were frozen to the street.
T'was a great car. _________________ Toofah King Bad
