I want to build an engine like the carrera GT one.

I don't need an exact copy of one but I do want to get with around the 200 bhp out of it.

I use an S2 with 931 DITC engine as a base
- K27 Turbo 5327-970-7007
- boost 0,7 / 0.8 bar
- GT DITC box
- intercooler
- S1 7,5:1 pistons (I know original is 8:1)
- sport exhaust system (Ansa)

What do I need more ?

i really dont know, but i would think that with those upgrade you could already reasonably expect to come in at least 200-210 range. an ic alone is generally good for 20% nominal. sacrificing a point in compression takes it down a bit, but should be more than compensated for with the spring and turbo upgrades, more durable as well i would guess...

Some 924 Carrera GT engine spec is here:

www.924gt.com/specification.html

Full technical specs and parts catalogue downloads are in the Servicing section.

The main differences are the pistons, which were 86.5mm and were forged, not cast; the turbo, which is also slightly different to the 931; and obviously the intercooler. I was reading over the weekend that the electronic ignition is also unique (Siemens?), but I need to check this.

As I look in Pet the injectors and wastgate are also the same as the 931 ones.

My DITC box is Siemens, but it's got a 937 part number, so the timing map must be slightly different to the 931.

what...the black units? wtf?
mine got bust and in a desperate moment i replaced it with an VW/AUDI unit that had the same partnumber except the last digit...the car runs great even now.
