I've looked throught the book and elsewhere and which one is it?
The top left one is a cooling fan relay and I've sussed the fuel, wiper and turn relays.

This is for an '84, similar to a 944 of same vintage and maybe 924S.
All the others I've looked at for 924 are wrong.

If it came with factory AC, there'd be a couple more relays behind the glovebox.
My upper-row-third-from-left, I have as "air conditioning system" - that might actually be the fresh air blower - http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=18560

No, on second thought (and a look at the diagrams), "air conditioner relay" appears to be just that and controls a "fresh air blower interlock relay" that apparently cuts power to the fresh air blower, and sends power to the evaporator fan (aka- "AC Blower Motor"), and completes a ground to activate the "cooling fan relay" to switch on both radiator cooling fans when the AC is switched on. "Air conditioner relay" and "cooling fan relay" are on the main fuse-relay panel. -So now I'm thinking the two relays behind the glovebox are the "fresh air blower relay" and "fresh air blower interlock relay".

The car was not originally fitted with AC so I am looking for the relay to interlock with the AC and switch it off when it is on.
(I am fitting the extra relays elsewhere)
It should be on the relay board but no pictures telling me which one.
I am thinking of switching the earth on the fan switch via interlock relay if I cant find the normal relay.

Turn on the fan, then pull relays until the fan stops?

I have all the electrics apart at the moment or I'd do just that.
I have altered the interlock to open the earth line on the blower fan now.
Relay should stay on but fan wont run.
