OK, here's the latest on my 931 resurrection, (1980 UK spec). When cold I cannot get the idle below 2000 and the idle mix screw on the throttle body has no effect. Co is high when cold which I would expect, around 6 or so. Once warm I can get the idle down to the requisite 950 but it idles super lumpy and the Co hits near 0 picks up fine when I rev it. timing adjustments have little effect and I can keep it running at the timing mark with a light, no problem.

I suspect the WUR is part of my problem owing to the high idle when cold, but could that explain the crappy idle when warm?

As an aside, my fuel meter has a screw to block off the vane adjustment rather than a rubber plug, is this normal?

Any advise welcome.

Cheers,

- D
