I haven't done much on this car. It was my uncles when he died and nobody wanted to deal with it. I try to start it every month or two. Tonight I got it running and found the headlights will come up, but not power up. Found a fuse blown, not sure what circuit. I've never seen fuses like this before. Are there normal fuses that fit for replacement? The only old round glass style fuses I have are much larger than the thing that was there. The car is not street legal anymore due to expired everything, but I still try to run it down the street a few blocks now and then to keep it functioning.

I have a 81 ... 924 but all my fuses from the actual fuse box are ceremic not glass.

Brand new fuse box that came with the below fuses in them.
part number 477 941 813 ( 22/7/2004 )

in order from top to bottom read numbers 1 to 15

white, white, white, white, red, white, white, white, white, red, white, white, white, white, red

white is 8 amp
red is 16 amp

Depending on the manufacturer , these fuses can be ceremic, plastic or glass. Just ask for a GBC series fuse in the amp you need, any material will work.

Yeah - you should actually be able to find these fuses at most good autoparts stores, particularly those that cater to Euro cars.

As I recall, fuses 1-4 in the main box (under the cover, not the smaller one without a cover) are the high/main and low beam fuses for the headlights - one for each circuit, each side.

Be glad the headlights go up and down properly - motor problems are usually the harder ones to fix!

Also - welcome to the forum! They're great cars, you'll have one of the best there, and should enjoy it when you get it on the street...

Hey welcome - what do you mean that it's not street legal and everything is expired? I get the not street legal, but specifically why not? Mine is 28 years old and nothing is 'expired' and it's street legal. Are you just talking about a State smog test or safety certificate or something?
