My TV can connect to youtube directly, or via HMDI from my home computer. Lots of fun! _________________ '80 924 Turbo - SOLD!

Why pay for comcrap's DVR and HD content?
I rolled my own and download content from the web and I can still watch over the air HD as well as downloaded HD content. Probably have $500-600 in this solution.
Planning on using this:
http://www.racerender.com along with my iPhone (Dynolicious Log Box) and a GoPro HD camera to generate some great video from the upcoming ChumpCar race.
Oh and since you call your car a "racer" does that mean that you'll actually "race" it someday? _________________ Stefan

We have frontier with the dvr, CD player with blue-ray netflix, & hulu plus on a 50 " flatscreen with 4 Bose surround little boxes hanging from the ceiling ...
I checked out your photo album fiatt22urbo looks like alot of fun.
naaa my car just a streeter though sometimes I wet myself at the
thought of hitting a track balls to the wall & spinning out onto the grass amongst the rolling eyes of
spectators who doesnt. Am I a pr*ck from
Colorado or what. man its cold outside. _________________ 1979 porsche 924 Na

As if the 50" with the bose isnt enough in the living room.... I got this for the bedroom. A 22" panasonic with i-pod hookup and sd slot I also got a wallmount kit.
Going to put right where this picture is. We ave frontier cable for one more week, then comcast is gonna come this sunday the 27 th. and hook us up with there premier package. That will be all the movie channels and sports and speed channels..plus we get a free house phone.
This package is good for 2 years. Im having them install a cable into our bedroom should be interesting to see how they run the cable. We have a cable outlet in the computer room though we dont use it. Now aint that some sh&t.

I agree, a bose system is never enough. I use an old 2.1 acoustimass with the computer in my bedroom, and it's definitely the weakest sound system I own.
Well, unless you have an older pair of bose speakers. they can sound really nice depending on what model they are. _________________ proud owner of a 1979 924 Sebring Edition with a 931 trans that looks horrible but somehow runs... |

Yea so can the new 22" flat screen ... though with the blue ray cd player
on the 50"er I can also get you tube. The only issue Im having is the 22"er wont play isnt giving out any sound .
I think its still in store display mode havent hooked it up up to a cable yet as comcast isnt due here till
sunday...
After that Ill mount the wall mount by isolating a wall stud and getting actual center using a key hoe saw.
I want to make sure that happens instead of having it off to the side of the stud & falling to the ground after being mounted. You know. _________________ 1979 porsche 924 Na

Not at all unapropriete, just passé. I have a hi-def LCD in the living room running HDMI from from my PC (that means hi-def surfing from my lounge chair, over my 15mbps connection) with one of these funky buggers as the remote. Seeing as it's Bluetooth and I have dual HDMI-out on my PC, the other HDMI running to the hi-def LCD in my bedroom, showing a cloned 'screen from the PC, I can also surf in hi-def from my bed with one palm-top input device working throughout the house. Also have a Bluetooth headset for hands-free, and free of charge, video calling on Skype. Of course, the PC also streams media to my PS3, which has one of these rigged up on one of these for playing GT5 (and any race sim. on the PC, too, 'natch). Of course, the funky bugger also doubles as a remote for the PS3 (gotta love Logitech gear ). And I'm quite sure mine is one of the less impressive setups around...
But that's a perfectly fine TV you have there. _________________ '80 924 Turbo |
