I have a 1980 924 Turbo that has sat for sometime before I purchased it. It appears that the injectors need to be cleaned, rebulit or replaced. Should I have them professinally cleaned or should I just replace them? If I replace them where should I look for replacements? New or Used?

I got these new bosch injectors here

No worries that the photo is wrong, I got these for the same car.

Here is a URL for a guy in the Pacific Northwest that does a great job at cleaning injectors. They come back looking like new and the turn a round time is fantastic.

http://www.witchhunter.com/

I have had two sets cleaned and I am very happy with the results.

Hey,

bosch is saying it is not possible to change the inner filter. If that company is able to do it, it sounds o.k.
Do they check the spray pattern?
If so the price is good.

They only service US customers. No international orders!

Being in the US, I was not aware of the US only policy. Having done one international buy where my credit card company charged an extra 1.5% for the exchange rate service, and UPS wanted a $15.00 fee to act as my agent, I can understand the reluctance to do international business when you have enough "local" business to keep you busy. It's not worth the extra hassle.
