Has anyone put a 944 or 968 dash in their car? I really like the look of the 968 dash, and might pick one up, along with door cars and console and stuff.
Would I have to chop anything up? |

Apparently the metal behind the dash is quite different, so you'd have to do a lot of welding and stuff. The door panels are not interchange unless you also switch dashes. I think it can be done with enough work, but it would be a pretty big hassle.

| Yeah, but I live in a small town, and I have absolutely nothing to do. I'm up for it. |

Then swap away, my friend. Sounds like a fun project.

I'd just like to restate at this point that I'm jumping up and down with joy. In a few short months, I have my own shop! 700 sq'!
I plan a little custom fabrication. I'm getting a TIG welder, and a compressor with a lot of tools. |
