My dash is apart. All the way apart. So, I am looking for stuff to do while it is all torn up.

Here's what I am thinking right now:
  • LED lighting throughout.
  • Speedo overhaul.
  • Update vents to 944 units.
  • Lube the flapper box traps.
  • Clean blower fan contacts and recoat with dielectric grease.
  • Clean and lube cables.

Anything else? I was considering trying to reinforce the heater lever tracks somehow to keep the lever from popping out all the time. But how?

TIA

How about changing the colour of your dials while your at it. I have seen some ones done in white and they look really nice....essentially its just placing a sticker over the current though apparently is a bit tricky removing the needles on the gauges

Anyway heres a link

get the dash leather covered,

Heck have it done in Alcantara just because, that would look nice.

go to http://www.928leather.com/ to get the contact info to have it done.

a German ebay seller- be careful as you have to get the right one.
There was about 4 different types of speedo for the 924.
