OK, so I just had the steering wheel and lock cylinder off my S, and needed to do the same with Shaggy. I was expecting the easy breezy time I had with Red, but noooooooo. . .
As I was wresting the turn signal stalk off, its two halves came apart, and disgorged two tiny metal brackets, a tiy metal strip, four tiny springs, and a fifth not so tiny one.
Anyone ever had this stuff apart? Any hints or reassembly? SmoothPics?
Grrr!

No, sorry, no pics. '81-up got the later 3-screw, square stalk switch like Red anyway..
Consider it a fun little puzzle and enjoy. _________________ "..it's made in Germany. You know the Germans always make good stuff."
