Hey guys,
One for the EFI wizards:
What is the best way of getting plug leads to fit the EDIS coil unit? I have a nice set of nearly new BERU leads complete with nice heat shields I would like to keep but they don't fit the coilpack. The dizzy end plugs screw off, can they be replaced easily with the right plugs?
Or do I just replace the lot?
Cheers

I just bought some EDIS plug wires.
Lizard had some made up custom at a local plug wire manufacturer. (aurora)
I'm sure you could make up a set with what you've got, but you'd have to find the coil plug ends someplace. I wasn't able to find any myself.

Fair enough, I'll file the BERU ones for now then.
Cheers

So, Rich, you doing the squirt and spark all in one go, eh?
I'd try getting the EFI running on standard ignition, then go over to the EIDS.
But, then, I'm a bit of an old woman. _________________ 1985 Porsche 924 'Lux', Kalahari Beige (my ex)

Yeah, I should really, but its going to be a fair amount of work to get it running full stop then another load of work to change everything over...
What I might do is get everything in place but not connected up. Get it running on a single coil then change over to EDIS
I need to re-wire the MS too to get it to work. Means the car will be off the road for a bit longer now but alot less when I change to EDIS.
That is if I can get it to run!! _________________ 1994 Lotus Esprit S4 - Work in progress...
