My car is stored in an public parking garage with security officers. Nevertheless it is broken into again.
One broken lock and a deep nick in the roof trim.
The stereo is a Kenwood radio-cassette player, so the thieves left it.

However, they took my tool kit. You always think you should buy the best tools, because they will last a lifetime. Then you end up with a toolkit containing roughly $700 worth of tools, and some junky takes it.....

Okay, it was stupid to leave it in the car I know.

That sucks, when I lived in a junkie-hood I stopped locking my car and left nothing in there, so they could rifle through it if they wanted. . .no more broken glass.

Sorry to hear that, I leave my winter cars empty and unlocked.

It might be a pain to carry your tools out each day but at least you'll know where they are.

That sucks- Tools are one of the things I dont buy rubbish wise and get looked after nearly as much as the car.

I have three protectors for my yard.

Bundy, Brandy and JD but I have heard them called
OMG, Oh shit, Feck me which they dont like.

Empty and unlocked. I'm installing a battery switch to disable it and discourage theft.
